Operations Site Lead

A specialist precision manufacturing company has a new vacancy for an Operations Site Lead to join their site near Malvern. Joining a successful group with multiple global plants, you will be responsible for day-to-day site operations ensuring targets are achieved while driving continuous improvement and developing the team. Candidates are sought with previous leadership experience gained in a fast-paced complex manufacturing environment.

The Role

Manage full site operations ensuring targets are achieved in line with customer requirements.

Develop and propose long-term strategic goals and operational plans.

Lead, mentor and coach teams across the site.

Ensure quality standards and delivery expectations are met, minimising costs where possible and ensure the required best working practices are maintained at all times.

Ensure the target productivity level is achieved on a daily basis.

Drive process improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate data analysis.

Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required.

Ensure the facility and plant equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

The Person

Previous experience in a senior leadership position within a fast paced highly regulated engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment.

Ability to solve complex manufacturing problems.

Excellent leadership and influence skills.

An Analytical thinker with ability to drive change.

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Commercially astute, supporting the business in the achievement of its growth and financial targets.
