Marketing and Communications Coordinator

A leading engineering group developing and manufacturing innovative high technology products has a new vacancy for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator. Joining at a time of new product launch and significant expansion, you will be responsible for developing and delivering marketing and communications activities that increase awareness of the companies technology and products in key sectors strengthening its market position and supporting business growth.

The Role

Develop and implement the company’s marketing and communications strategy.

Define and maintain clear positioning, messaging and value propositions for the company’s technologies.

Create high-quality technical and commercial content, including brochures, presentations, articles, website content and customer communications.

Manage and develop the company website, ensuring content accurately reflects products, capabilities, projects and market activities.

Support product launches and the introduction of new technologies, products and services to market.

Coordinate PR and media activity, including press releases, media engagement, industry features and contributions to relevant publications.

Plan and coordinate the company’s participation in industry exhibitions, conferences, trade shows and technology events.

 Work closely with the commercial and sales teams to develop compelling customer-facing materials and sales enablement content.

Support the preparation of marketing and communications materials for tenders, grant applications, strategic partnerships and other commercial opportunities.

The Person

Proven experience in marketing, communications or a related role, ideally within engineering, manufacturing or high technology sectors.

Demonstrable experience developing B2B marketing content.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong copywriting and editing capabilities.

Experience managing websites and social media channels.

Ability to work with technical teams and understand complex products and technologies.

Experience developing marketing campaigns and measuring their effectiveness.

Strong organisational and project-management skills.

Strong attention to detail and a high standard of presentation.
