A globally recognised company supplying complex solutions to the precision machining sectors has a new vacancy for an Area Sales Engineer to join the team. Covering the South West regions and with previous experience as a Sales or Applications Engineer you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating new revenue streams and building long-term customer relationships.
The Role
Identify and generate new business opportunities for expanding customer base.
Track and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Build and maintain robust sales pipeline to support business growth.
Keep up to date with new technologies and competitor products.
Work closely with the Sales Manager and head office on develop strategies.
Collaborate with the team to respond effectively to customer requirements.
Develop and execute plans to drive sales within the assigned sales region.
Maintain customer engagement to ensure sales pipeline
Monitor market trends within South West region.
The Person
A self-starter with a strong understanding of metal cutting and machining processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and prioritise own time.
Preferably a time served engineer with experience in automotive, aerospace or oil & gas industries.
Able to travel to customers sites across the South West region as required.
