IT Manager

A well-recognised, but rapidly growing FMCG company based near Leicester has a new vacancy for an IT Manager to join the team. Due to internal group promotion, they now seek an experienced IT Manager who will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the IT infrastructure, systems & services and managing an onsite team of IT professionals. Candidates are sought with previous experience working in a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing, engineering, distribution or logistics

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, ensuring professional growth and development.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software.
• Oversee IT support services to ensure minimal downtime and high levels of service.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
• Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and provide effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation.

Experience:

• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in managing IT projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
