Senior Financial Accountant

Due to growth and group promotion, a leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for a Senior Accountant to join the team. Offering excellent career opportunities, you will work closely with the Finance Manager in the preparation and submission of accounts and candidates will have experience working in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

Assist in the preparation and submission of monthly accounts, including monthly reviews, journal entries and corrections.

Responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts, ensuring that back up documentation is complete.

Assist in the preparation & submission of accurate and timely VAT returns.

Facilitate and promote financial awareness throughout the Company.

Continually strive to improve and simplify procedures and systems

Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Work closely with Finance Manager & Director the senior management team on process development.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

The Person

Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).

Demonstrable experience within a fast paced environment.

Good communication skills, teamwork and leadership skills..

High attention to detail and accuracy.
